With the launch of Visual Design Studio, I felt the best way to connect with those in the community is with a blog. So here it is, my first blog post. I decided to write it as myself rather than the company because I think it will be more personal that way and it just might make it more interesting. My goal is to post at least once a week with content ranging from images of current projects to interesting architecture and other things relating to the 3D rendering industry.
As for me, my name is Matthew and I live in northern California. I became interested in photo-realistic renderings when I started working for a local architectural firm. I had an opportunity to create renderings for a few projects but for the most part it wasn’t something they needed. After the firm closed up shop last year I had the opportunity to create renderings for a few architects I know in the area but I wanted to branch out further. So I started Visual Design Studio, it serves as a way to show what I’ve done so far and to offer my rendering services to a wider audience. My goal is to provide personal one-on-one service to the design industry while pushing my rendering skills to the next level with every project.
I hope this gives an idea of what I’m doing here and please feel free to let me know what you think in the comment section below.
